Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) or the Sime Darby Foundation is the main philanthropic arm of Sime Darby Berhad. Over the years, the

Foundation has expanded its wings from offering scholarships to outstanding and deserving individuals to funding impactful conservation, outreach and development programmes.
The Foundation revolves around its five pillars:

• ENVIRONMENT
• COMMUNITY & HEALTH
• YOUTHS & SPORTS
• ARTS & CULTURE

The Foundation is governed by an esteemed Council and managed by a dedicated team to carry out impactful work, whilst working closely with the Sime Darby Group in areas of common concern.
YSD welcomes sponsorship applications that enables it to fulfill its Vision and Mission , and achieve the objectives in each of its five pillars.

YSD Excellence Scholarship Programmes
This programme is tailored for students from families with a gross household income of less than RM10,000 a month, possessing excellent academic results and outstanding leadership qualities for a full scholarship covering tuition fees, living and book allowances.

Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) Scholarship commences from September 2015. Application period is from 3 March to 2 April 2015. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.
