Indonesian Government (KNB) Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries 2015
The scholarship is offered to potential student from developing countries to earn their Master Degree in one of 13 prominent universities in Indonesia.
Officially launched in 2006 by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, this program has been attracting a significant number of applicants, as by 2013, 647 students from 64 countries had been awarded this scholarship.
The program objectives:
1. To contribute in the human resource development in
the developing countries;
2. To promote deeper cultural understanding between
developing countries;
3. To strengthen the relationship and cooperation
between developing countries.

Requirements
1. Maximum age is 35 years old
2. Possess a bachelor degree
3. Not a Master Degree Holder
4. Have a TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent
5. Complete the on-line application form
6. He/she must be recommended by the Indonesian embassy

1. Recommendation Letter from the Indonesian Embassy in the
respective country;

Procedure
1. Download Invitation letter from the KNB Scholarship website (www.knb.dikti.go.id);
2. Bring the Invitation letter, Passport or Birth Certificate, Academic Certificates and Academic Transcripts to the Indonesian Embassy to acquire the recommendation letter;
3. Complete the on line application process (www.knb.dikti.go.id);
4. The Selection Process will be conducted based on on-line application data ;
5. The Selection Results will be published in the KNB Scholarship Website (www.knb.dikti.go.id) and through the Indonesian Embassy publication channel in the respective country
7. He/she must be in a good health proved by an official medical statement from authorized medical practitioner
